This conversion kit is compatible with all K and XL SPORTSTER models before 1977 equipped with original loose ball bearings.
This kit replaces the original loose ball bearing system with the newer tapered roller bearing system (part number 45586-78) from the SPORTSTER XL frame.
Complete kit including frame cups, bearing races, Timken-type tapered roller bearings, and dust covers. Only a few tools are required.
