Cometic AFM gaskets consist of an aluminum core coated on both sides with a thin layer of chemically expanded, foam-like synthetic nitrile rubber. Resistant to temperatures above 122°C. AFM rubber offers 85% elasticity while maintaining excellent torque retention. No re-tightening, sealants or silicone beads are required.
