    Cometic AFM gaskets consist of an aluminum core with a chemically expanded, foam-like thin layer of synthetic nitrile rubber bonded to both sides. Resistant to temperatures above 122°C (250°F). AFM rubber offers 85% elasticity while maintaining excellent torque retention. No re-tightening, sealant, or silicone bead is required.
