This gasket consists of an aluminum core covered with a thin layer of chemically expanded nitrile synthetic rubber, similar to foam, bonded to both sides. Temperature resistance above 122°C. AFM rubber has 85% elasticity and excellent torque retention. No retorquing, sealant, or silicone bead is required.
