This gasket consists of an aluminum core coated with a thin layer of chemically expanded, foam-like nitrile synthetic rubber bonded to both sides. Temperature resistance above 122 °C. AFM rubber has 85% elasticity and excellent torque retention. No retightening, sealant, or silicone bead is required.
